25 bucks, the American Dream, & a kid who went homeless by choice

I can’t decide if I love this story or hate it. Some middle class kid decided to turn his back on his upbringing and give up everything in his life except 25 bucks and the clothes on his back to see if the American Dream could still be achieved (apparently, his version of the American Dream just means getting a car, a job, an apartment, and $2,500 in savings in the bank).

 He succeeded…in proving that the American Dream of rich kids experimenting with being poor is still alive and well.
